Meet your maker

Hi. I make websites.

I spend most of my time working on the front-end of websites (if programmers were doctors, I would be a digital plastic surgeon), but I have experience working on every aspect of the life-cycle of websites. I am designer and developer; planner, tester and problem-solver. Ultimately, what I create has to be both beautiful and functional.

In all my work, I aim to achieve the highest standards of semantic markup, programmatic efficiency, usability, accessibility, flexibility, and refined, information inspired design by whatever means necessary.

I love a challenge.

I think there is great value in good design and I only work on things I believe in.

About the site

This site was created in emacs and macromedia dreamweaver using php, xml, css, html, and a touch of javascript. All content is relegated to xml, which php uses to generate a css styled page. The portfolio is generated dynamically from existing directories and files. All html is as semantic as possible (while maintaining design integrity) and optimized for search engines, low load times, and display without styles. Page tracking is also done with php.
